As the UK’s only complete surviving rococo garden, there’s nowhere like Painswick Rococo Garden.
This is a place to forget the stresses of everyday life. A place for fun, adventure and exploration. A place to relax, to restore, and to rediscover.
Whether you’re visiting as a family, a group of friends or a couple – or simply in need of some time alone in nature – you’ll discover a haven of peace and tranquillity, sprinkled with quirky features to surprise and delight you.
A garden for all seasons! From January’s first snowdrops—peaking in breathtaking drifts through February—the garden awakens into spring as hellebores, cyclamen, daffodils and over 9,000 bulbs bring colour through March and April. May and June see vibrant borders, aquilegia, heritage roses and fresh kitchen garden produce, while summer unfolds with fragrant blooms, wildflowers and abundant harvests through July and August. As autumn approaches, September and October deliver rich colour, ripening fruits and golden foliage, before November reveals the garden’s bare architectural beauty as it settles into winter.
