The Royal International Air Tattoo is a world-class celebration of aviation, held each year at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. Featuring hundreds of aircraft and spectacular flying displays, it brings together air forces and enthusiasts from across the globe. It’s the ultimate festival of flight—thrilling, inspiring, and truly unforgettable.
Taking place at South Cerney Airfield, near Cirencester, the much-anticipated event promises another spectacular edition featuring thousands of vintage transport exhibits, three live arenas and a rich variety of countryside attractions. Hosted by the Stroud Vintage Transport & Engine Club, the Extravaganza has become a much-loved fixture on the national events calendar, drawing in enthusiasts, families, and collectors from across the UK. Over three fun-filled days, visitors can enjoy a nostalgic celebration of transport history, countryside traditions and all things vintage.
One of the highlights of the city’s vibrant festival calendar, Gloucester Goes Retro features over 500 classic vehicles filling the historic Gate Streets and Gloucester Docks. You will find famous car brands from yesteryear including Aston Martin, Jensen, Bentley, Triumph, Morris and Alvis to name just a few. Incredible vehicles from the 1900s through the Roaring Twenties and the War Years to the gleaming chrome of the fifties, the iconic designs of the Swinging Sixties, sports cars from the eighties and an instant nostalgia hit from nineties classics.
