We had a lovely afternoon tea celebrating a birthday in one of the pods. Lovely selection and nothing was too much trouble. The birthday cheesecake that was presented was a great touch!   

Ant – Dec 2025  

 On what I think is considered one of the busiest evenings leading to Christmas we had a great evening in one of the pods. There were a few Christmas parties going on in the hotel so it was an incredibly busy evening for the staff. From the start the lady on reception made me feel welcome and showed me to the bar to wait for the others to arrive. We were show to the pod which looked so pretty and Christmasy with lights etc. We arrived at 8.30pm and left around 11pm. It was perfect to have that space to chat and giggle privately. Our server Joseph was faultless – so refreshing we couldn’t believe it. We all have kids his age. Nothing was too much trouble which was just the best. He really is a credit to you at Bowden Hall.

We had a table for 10 booked in one of their lakeside pods as a Christmas gathering for friends. From initial booking with Chelsea, down to the exceptional waiting service with Joseph, the reservation has been fault free and seamless. Food was incredible and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect venue for a gathering!

Me, my mum and my sister came to Bowden Hall dining pods to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. The food was lovely the atmosphere was great and Jack our server has been absolutely amazing and made the experience much more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and come back again. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We had our anniversary meal in one of the pods. We had control of heat or air con and music! The ambience was lovely, very private and the service was fab. Food portions were huge and all served hot and in a timely fashion! Highly recommend the pods and Bowden Hall!

We had a lakeside pod for a special birthday and the staff made it such a fabulous experience, nothing was to much trouble the food was fantastic, the service was fab and they made it extra special with a little surprise for the birthday girl! A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon

We had afternoon tea in one of the pods and I have to say it was a fabulous afternoon. The pods are such a cool way to spend time with friends and family! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the cakes and the staff were lovely. Very happy with our visit.

I booked an Afternoon Tea in a Pod for my Mums 60th Birthday for 4 of us. We had a wonderful experience, she was truly surprised when we arrived. Such a beautiful, tranquil setting and the Pod made it feel even more special. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. The staff were so attentive, really went about and beyond, really making my mum feel special. We were so relaxed and didn’t feel rushed at all. We were able to play our own music on the Bluetooth speaker that was provided, which was a nice touch. Also the heater/ air conditioner was a great idea. Definitely one of the best Afternoon Teas we’ve had. We really look forward to visiting again soon.
